The Catasons Choir was founded in Sabadell (Barcelona) in 2001 by its current conductor, Mariona Sánchez. The Choir belongs to the School of Music Creu Alta.

The 70-strong mixed-voice choir covers a wide and varied repertoire. We perform a wide range of music; our programming spans the cultural divide to include great music from many sources, classical, popular, spiritual songs and contemporary authors.

Each year we give four to five concerts in and around Sabadell. Foreign tours have taken the choir to Carcassonne, France. The choir has a good social side with a variety of events taking place throughout the year.
